Feeling a bit classy, I was excited to check out the local favorite Crave for an after-work social session. Craving (lol) some hookah and drinks, this felt like the perfect spot. I noticed that the bar tends to hire pretty waitresses, has a very nice décor and feel with with a mix lounge and bar setting, and overall has great specials from 5-7 (which is what we mainly come for). We went on a Wednesday for half off martinis and lets just say we were satisfied.
The Good:
- My martinis were on point. I had 2 different types of cucumber drinks (The frisk & another one) as well as a vodka based martini which I special ordered into a dirty martini. Both were a little light on the alcohol (half price) but they still tasted great and I kept my mancard intact.
- The spinach dip ($5 for half priced apps from 5-7) was really good. Not creamy like you would expect to be, but extremely chunky. The chips were well salted and went well with the dip. We ordered a few..
- The lounge area was extremely comfortable. We sat down at the couches and felt totally relaxed, but not slouchy.
The Okay:
- Hookah was alright. Extremely small hookah for the price ($20) but I didn't get charged the extra few dollars for coals (really?) bc our waitress was awesome. They packed it well at least.
The Bad:
- Sliders had absolutely no sauce and were extremely dry. The flavor was off but that's really the only complaint I've had so far.
I'll definitely come back for their othere special days (Each day from 5-7 they have a different special) as well as their desserts. Overall, great after work place and a nice setting for a date.
