I only have a problem with how much they charge. I never had a problem with my other animal hospital (Durango Animal Hospital), it's just that Red Rock is right down the street. I was a walk-in for routine shots for two Poms. I don't have a problem with the level of care. It was just fine. But this place charges $55/dog just to be seen! The shots range from $22-$29. That is twice as much as ANYWHERE around the valley!! FYI: Durango doesn't charge you a "doctor visit fee" when you come in for shots. I paid the bill, because after all....I received the services. My dogs are my children, but why would I pay 3X the normal amount just to get the same level of care I can get somewhere else?? Sorry guys, I'll drive the 7 miles to Durango Animal Hospital. I don't like being taken advantage of. I guess someone has to pay for all the Peter Lik photographs around the office.
