Far and away the best experience I could have hoped for, and a life (of my car) saver. I brought my car to another shop with what I hoped was just a quick belt fix and found out that I was in need of a new crankshaft and hours upon hours of labor. The cost of repair was close to the value of the car, and so, even though I trusted the guys who made the original diagosis, I had it towed to R&R for a second opinion.
The first guys weren't wrong, and the guys at R&R told me that the quote for parts and labor I had was very reasonable. However, R&R was able to save my old crankshaft. Through creativity and craft they were able to accomplish a repair that I don't think many even very skilled mechanics would attempt, and they saved my car.
You cannot ask for better and there isn't a business in any industry that I would more adamantly recommend.
