I'm pretty delayed on getting this review out there, but I absolutely loved this place so I figured I should still write one. My friend and I were looking to get piercings on new year's eve so I called a few places. Most closed around 5 or so, which was totally understandable but I wasn't off work until 7. I called Mastodon and Shane immediately offered to stay open as late as I would need, which was especially great because I couldn't guarantee that my friend would get her piercing done.
When I went to make my deposit, Shane went over everything I would need to know about what I was getting done and even showed me the room and where it would be done. Some of their features I knew nothing about before, like their different styles of bars.
I was incredibly nervous going to my appointment as this was my first bodily piercing and happened to be my nipples. However, as soon as I got there I knew everything was fine. You can tell that Shane is a real professional and has been doing this for a long time.
Afterwards, he did deny my friend getting her septum pierced because she didn't have enough cartlidge in her nose, but I can really respect that. Not everyone will turn down the extra money if they don't think it will be right for their client. If you went to some of the cheap crappier places around like htc or halo, I know they would've just shoved a bar in her nose and moved on no matter what. As a comparison, a friend of mine got her nipples done at halo and I had to explain to her how to take care of them because no one told her. Anyway, thoroughly impressed with this place. I've never had any issues with my nipple piercings in the six months I've had them. I now recommend this place to everyone and I'll definitely be back for future work
