First, I must say that I really wanted to enjoy this place. The ambiance is great and it's pretty (except for the large mural on the wall... seems a bit kiddy). The bar is beautiful, seating is comfortable, and they have many drink options... One of the guys working there even helped me to my seat (chivarly isn't dead!). We sat at a table near the bar. My friends and I came here since we had a reservation at another nearby restaurant. We were here specifically for drinks, and we had 30 minutes for a drink and walk to the other restaurant. Our server was SUPER nice and friendly and walked us through their drink menu... I asked if there was a typo on the drink menu because of a $400 rum/cocktail flight called "Millionaire". Who gets this flight??? Anyways, I digress.... Since we only had 30 minutes we told our server of our reservations we had, and ordered our drinks immediately - we were 2 couples, a group of 4. My girlfriend and I had two rum flights because we figured it has to be one of the easiest drinks to prepare - pour 3 "shots" in a nice glass and keep it moving. Next, the husbands order some sort of dark liquor cocktails. I know my husband ordered a manhattan because he's as predictable as they come. I can't remember what my friend's husband ordered, but it was some cocktail. 10 minutes later we wave down our server like "Hey, did you put in our drink order?" She's like "Yeah let me see what's up." She never returned to give us an update. 10 minutes later we wave down our server like "Hey, Ummmmmmm..... Drinks?" She didn't return to give us an update. 5 minutes later... 25 minutes since we placed the order... The guys get their cocktails, and I inquired about the rum flights that weren't in hand. She had no response, and instead we reminded her of our reservation. So to run things along we also had to ask for the check before we even got our rum flights... So we got our check, paid for our drinks before we even received our rum flights... Did they forget about us? Was the bar busy? We were watching the bar since we had 30 minutes of time to waste and they just seemed to be in "chill mode" as if they were actually on a Caribbean island. If we would've known it would have taken over 30 minutes to get 4 drinks I would've never come. So, we were late to our other reservations.... I was extremely sad. I cannot speak to the food, but the drinks took entirely too long to get to us. It will likely be a while until I come back to try any of the food.
