My wife and I had not been to the Hop House but were looking for a new place to play Buzztime Trivia games so we decided to try it out. The staff was incredible, extremely friendly, attentive, and even through in a few jokes! There is a different beer special each day. They have at least 15 beers on tap, including craft beers. Plenty of tv's to watch sports, dartboards, pinball, pool table, and a cool video shuffleboard type game. We ate the chicken nachos and then brought home a wood fired pizza. My wife said at least 6 times that this was the best pizza she has eaten in the past three years in Pittsburgh. It was REALLY good. The only downside, and we are not sure we will be able to get over this to return again, is the smoking.....it is bad. We really would make this bar our new place to hang out, but the smoking is hard to bear, we smelled awful, even the next day. Otherwise, this bar is a perfect 5 in our book!!
