I stopped here with my wife the other day to check out what they offered. I was pleasantly surprised to find not only anime related items, but an assortment of video game merchandise as well. I must admit, I'm not entirely up to date on anime in this current generation but I was a big fan when I was younger of Gundam, DBZ, and the like. So the current offerings at this shop were perfect for me. I was happy to see the store was pretty well maintained. The cases weren't dusty, the items were very well organized, and it looked like the owner really took pride in the place. The many drawings scattered over the walls behind the counter really gave the place a warm local feel. One of the big stand outs of the store for me was the large quantities of Gundam models they stocked. All of the boxes were in great shape, and the models themselves were recent releases and priced fairly. They also stock sets of the Gundam model painting pens, which is nice to find locally. I really worry for where this store will go when Metro Center closes down. Hopefully it will transition to Collectors Market Place or another storefront. Either way, I will definitely be rounding out my Gundam model collection here until Metro Center is finally closed down.
