My friend and I are doing a Great Cupcake Adventure. We are trying every cupcake place in Vegas, and Cupkates was the third bakery we tried. We were both super excited after reading the reviews online and seeing the website. Sadly, it was a let down. To begin with, it looks nothing like a bakery. At first, we thought it was a boutique, but then we saw the mini cupcakes. We bought a dozen with six flavors. It was kind of disappointing because we like picking out what flavors I want, but we only had the option to buy the 12. There are two positives about the cupcakes. First, they are adorable. Second, they are incredibley moist. Unfortunately, that is where it stops. The flavors were very generic, and we could not tell one flavor from another. I think I've had grocery store cupcakes that tasted better. So far Cupkates has received the lowest score, and we won't be going back. I can see how Cupkates would be great for a cupcake tea party for little girls, but if you are an adult looking for a yummy cupcake, I would probably try somewhere else.
