I was in the neighborhood because I had to do a presentation. Unfamiliar with the area, I did a Google search for places to eat nearby and this restaurant appeared. I read the reviews and thought I'd try it for lunch. I parked in this open area and walked there. The place was clean and had the typical Scottsdale vibe. There is a patio outside and seating inside. The host/server was Anthony. He had about six tables total (indoors and outdoors). I didn't notice anyone else in the restaurant working besides him. He provided great service with a smile. Definitely, ask for him as your server. I ordered the Emiliana salad ($6). I thought it could use an additional drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette dressing and more pine nuts. Considering the price of pine nuts, I can say that I wasn't too surprised. I also ordered the Americana pizza ($9). The salad and the pizza were good. The crust was super thin with a good crunch on the edges. I thought the lunch special prices were a little pricey. But, what I expected to pay in Scottsdale. Excellent service, good food and a great milieu.
