Restaurant Ruby Rouge is found in Montreal's small Chinatown. My aunt wanted to take us to a Chinese restaurant that serves Dim Sum. This was not her first choice, but the place she wanted to take us was closed.
The restaurant is located on the second floor of the building. It is a very large restaurant. The place was packed that day we visited. We were seated right away, but that is as good as the service got for us. It was one of the worst service that I have ever experienced at a restaurant. Very very unfriendly!! Very very slow as well. Took forever for the carts full of goodies to reach us.
Once they did reach us, the food we tried was just decent at best. The Spare Ribs, Shrimp, Shao Mai, Calamari, Chicken or maybe it was Duck Feet, Eggplant, and everything else were all disappointing to average. Maybe we just picked the wrong choices. More than likely, the bad service from the beginning was leaving a sour taste in all of our mouths.
I would not return here based on our awful experience.
