The Rockyview Hospital deserves a 5 star for their overall patient experience.
The day started off with keeping an eye on the Calgary Hospital wait time tracker and it seems that the Rockyview consistently has the shortest wait times of all the hospitals. So I drove across the city to visit their emergency room....to my surprise...it wasn't even as long as they said....barely anyone in emergency and I was seen as quickly as I arrived.
From the emergency staff and doctors to the time I had emergency surgery to recovery....I absolutely have no issues or complaints at all...not a single bit.
I have to applaud the Hospital for working hard at reducing their wait times and providing better patient experience. The last few times I visited emergency the waits were insane and I fearing the worst when I went, but received better medical service then imagined.
Tip: do a bit of research and check out the hospital wait times and take the extra drive....you'll save yourself the wait.
