I went here with a party of people to celebrate a special occasion and we were quite pleased with the experience of eating here and the food overall. That staff were all friendly, attentive, and eager to assist us, be it with coat checking or picking out our main courses. It is an interesting experience to eat on the inside of what looks and feels like a house, however this lends itself to an overall homey feel while you dine.
The waiter here said they had the best meatball in Pittsburgh and he might be right, it was certainly one of the best and largest meatballs I had ever had. The seafood pasta I had served with homemade trenne was excellent as well, and the rest of my party were definitely pleased with their dishes.
Overall it was a very pleasant experience accompanied with excellent food and my only critique is that I wish it was cheaper so I could eat here more often.
