If you want to take a break from wearing your heels on the strip, come check out Red Rock Canyon for a day of hiking to lose those calories from that buffet dinner the night before. This canyon is about 30 minutes from the strip and very easy to drive to. Once there, you have the option to take a scenic drive, take a hike through Red Rock Canyon and/or check out the visitors center with a fee as cheap as $5 per car. If you rather not fork out that extra $5 especially if you've been losing more than you expected from the casinos, drive pass the visitors center and pull into the Red Rock Canyon Outlook. Although it's free, you can still enjoy the view of Red Rock Canyon and take some pictures while you're there to show proof you weren't just getting wasted in Vegas. Overall, this is a great place to go to in replacement with a day's work at your local gym.
