I really love this boutique on 17th and find it very hard to leave without shoes or (more often) a fabulous purse. The decor is very in your face in the best possible way and the selection of clothing and accessories is best I've seen in the city for the pin up girl style. The store is a bit crowded, but only because it's packed with so much great product and it's worth taking the time to navigate it. Be sure to check out the display cases at the till for lighters, business card cases (some of which double well as cigarette cases), and jewelry that's unique in Calgary. My only complaint is that the staff are sometimes less than friendly and I have felt that I'm more of a bother than a valued customer. I know that in Calgary there's a limited opportunity to find what Blame Betty is selling, but I've found the customer service to be lacking, especially when you consider the friendly and helpful service at their sister store Dick & Jane's. Other than the occasional 3-star experience with the staff, this store is 5 stars across the bar.
