I'd been debating on what to make of my first experience with The Buffet and I was finally able to put my finger on a few things that made it stand out. My girlfriend and I came here for dinner. It was not the food on offer; much of it felt like standard buffet fare. You have your prerequisite pasta station, asian station, seafood, meat, etc. Nothing that really stood out to me or screamed "different." I had expected to be wowed considering what I had heard about this particular buffet, but instead it was just "good." I will say though that if it's dessert you're after, this place has it and then some. It's such a varied selection of desserts that it can hard to decide where to start. What did stand out to me was ambiance; this place actually has that despite being a buffet and it's not stretching that concept one bit. There was also the attentiveness of the staff. Each time either myself or girlfriend got up to reload on another round of food, the previous plates were taken away and the table ready for that next round. I was quite impressed by that attentiveness and for that alone, it gains another star for a total of 3.
