A few weeks ago I bought a 48" Smart TV from Best Buy, the sales associate told me the set would fit on my current wall mount unit so I made the purchase. I had to go back the following day to pick the set up. When the associate brought it to my vehicle I told him I thought he had the wrong TV he assured me it was the correct one. I get it home have it mounted only to realize it was indeed the wrong set.
When I called the store about the mistake a store employee told me that the TV I originally purchased would not fit on my wall unit. Needless to say I was not happy. (This was the weekend that Hurricane Matthew hit NC.)
Subsequently I contacted the store manager on Monday via email to tell him about the problem. He happen to be out of town so within a few hours he had 2 different manager contact me about my complaint.
To resolve my issue they sent a Geek Squad member to my house with the TV that I had originally purchased with a comparable wall unit at no charge to me. He took incorrect TV that had been given to me and mounted the new TV on my current wall unit as he was able to make it work.
I was so impressed by the above and beyond customer service I received from the store managers and Geek Squad Tech for a 330.00 TV that I just had to share this on Yelp.
Best Buy secured a life time customer that day!!!!
