My son and niece attended this program for 3 weeks, they really enjoyed it. After that time I signed my son up ( my niece was leaving town), less than one month later & before my original coupon deal had expired my schedule changed drastically and my son would not be able to attend for an unknown period of time. I placed my cancellation notice in person in writing as they require. They called me and informed me I must pay my last month's tuition before my account could be cancelled. This is a pre-payment and not a payment for time used. I advised them that this is not written in their contract and to please send me a bill regarding the remaining two months I owed in order to cancel my account. ( be advised when you sign up they require you to give them a 60 day notice to cancel your account basically, according to them this is the most lenient cancellation policy in the industry do your research) I am now receiving collection calls for an amount over 1,500$ an amount that is unbelievable considering I only owe them 268$ for two months and have yet to receive that bill. This company in my opinion is more interested in the bottom line than actual martial arts. The other issue I had with this establishment is they were on almost a per session basis trying to up sell their bi-weekly parties to you and your kids telling them to " go ask your parents" these parties are around 50$. The option is nice sure the constant upsell along with the un professional demeanor of the employees are why I give it one star.
