I was contacted by a recruiter named Jessica for a role at McKesson as a Supervisor. We were scheduled to meet a few days later because of the immediate need, however on the morning we were supposed to meet, she called me and instructed me to go directly to McKesson for the interview because the company needed someone right away. Jessica also instructed me to call her after the interview so I could let her know how it went. I arrived and was greeted by Nora, who was indeed a "gem" she was pleasant and personable. I interviewed with a team of two on May 21, 2018. I called Jessica after the interview and left a message to let her know how things went. The next morning (May 22, 2018) I emailed her and asked her if she had received any feedback and she said she had not and was awaiting something and she would let me know. After not hearing from Jessica, I emailed her again on May 23, 2018 asking for feedback or updates and no response. I called the office on May 25, 2018 and was told Jessica was working from home. I called her at home (she had previously given me her work number and it is listed on her email) and I asked her if she had heard anything from McKesson and she said she was off work for the morning and would be checking her emails later that day and either way call me back. Well today is Tuesday, May 30, 2018 and I have yet to hear anything from Jessica. I am fine with not getting the job, but the least I could have gotten is a phone call stating they went with someone else or she had not heard anything. This was my first and last time working with a temp agency and I think it is so unprofessional not to respond to emails or make agreements to follow up and not. That's my story.
