As a club, this place fails. The music, being so uninspired with really only current pop, is very mediocre. Bad enough the DJ's play mainly pop, but when all you hear is that which would be on any local pop radio station, why have DJ's at all. Sound system sucks, so even if you like current pop music, be prepared to strain hard to actually hear it. People don't seem to dance here as much as having a sea of straight people all rythmically rocking together in unison. It's rather hypnotic, which I suppose takes away from the bad lighting on the dance floor. Imagine 100 metronomes set together, cool for a few minnutes. BORING. The bar: okay, they have a nice bar, but a bar is the people that work behind it and if they suck, the prettiest cleanest, or most modern interesting bar will NOT cover that up. Bar tenders here are rude and slow. A rude bartender in WI, you ask? Yes, and I've never met one until coming here twice. Both times were frustrating. Throw on top of rude barkeeps the fact that drinks are pretty pricey for this area (and hopefully you didn't pay cover). There is also a lack of places to sit. There is literally no chance of being able to sit down to relax at this place. I think everyone gets what this bar wants to be, but it can't be that. It's just not what one would expect in this area. I expect to be treated like a nobody in Chicago, NYC, or LA, but not here. It's out of place and out of the local character that this bar is so unwelcoming. When I first entered, it reminded me of an AandF store, and who goes there to enjoy themselves or relax with friends. In any case, some will tell themselves(and others) they love this place and its awesome. And all those uninspired hollow people will love it since they know no better. Trust me, everyone can do better.
