Worst service I've ever been DENIED in the automotive industry. REFUSED to sell me tires because I was from WV as if I were trying to scam them. I provided a legitimate CC (my ATM check card) and Driver's license and even offered to have them run it as debit so I could enter my PIN to ensure payment. Also offered to allow them to make copies of my CC and DL. The manager and clerk were very unprofessional. I was in Charlotte for work and was vacationing the following week with my family in Florida. The tires on my truck are an odd size and Griffin happened to have them when no one else did. (The only plus I can give them) I specifically informed the gentlemen over the phone that I was coming in to purchase the tires only and take them with me because I was in my work van at the time and my truck was at home. He commented that, since this was the case he could give me a good deal. When I arrived they asked for a DL, not sure why this is required to purchase tires but, I presented it to him. Immediately I was treated like a criminal. Wish I could leave 0 stars and only this negative feedback. My company regularly conducts business in Charlotte and has a fleet of vehicles we put 50K miles+ a year on. This means LOTS of tires. Our tires will NEVER come from Griffin.
