My husband and I have been to many wonderful restaurants, and decided to celebrate our one year anniversary at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant in hopes to continue our extravagant dining experiences in Las Vegas. Prior to our arrival we received a text outlining a strict list of apparel guidelines and what to wear. Upon our arrival we shared a ride to the 11th floor with a couple wearing jeans and t-shirts, while we were dressed up. This was originally shocking and upsetting.
Our seats, near the window was wonderful! As we sat down though, my husband was greeted with the lady at a table next to us charging her iPhone. Literally plugged in by my husbands feet. The down side to our table was we were near the waiters stand and heard personal conversations among them all night. Our service from the beginning was lacking. I was not impressed with the atmosphere.
We thought perhaps all the ups and downs maybe it's worth it for the food, wrong. The prices are so "high class," for a "low class" experience and terrible customer service. I ordered a New York steak. Not the best I've ever had, okay size but not filling. Our sides potatos au gratin and mushrooms were good, but not out of this world for their high price tag. Lastly my husband ordered a rack of lamb for $59. The plate came out with a mere three lamb legs. I can get way more and better tasting at other restaurants in Vegas for the same price and better atmosphere. Disappointed doesn't even cover our experience. We came here excited to share our first anniversary and discuss our last year, but we're faced with a lacking experience. We're upset we didn't go to a restaurant we know we love that our dressy appearance would have been more welcomed and appreciated.
Overall, I would not recommend this experience to any of my friends and family. I was disappointed none-the-less. The best part of dinner was my company, my husband.
