An overpriced dark and gloomy hotel... The hotel charges a mandatory resort fee, which one has to question why? If it is mandatory, then it is a part of the room rate. When resort fees are added like this, it makes me wonder if the only reason is to clearly trick others, espicially international tourists, into paying who otherwise do not understand the fee. The whole M Life marketing campaign is also annoying, It makes me realize how many properties MGM owns, and that they are all one big evil corporate giant... Support the smaller properties in Las Vegas (like the Cosmo) who have friendly staff, a more upbeat feel to them, and dont look all old looking. Also the construction noise is insanely loud, like to the point where at times ear plugs are required.....
