I was rear ended at the end of March (no one was injured, thankfully) My 2017 Lexus ES350 had significant rear damage. I chose Hertz because it was close to our business. I was told by my insurance company that I would get a rental car comparable to what I had since I was not at fault. I've attached photos of the Toyota Corolla I was given for a rental. The interior was badly stained and it was a very basic model. If this was a 1 day loaner car, I would have just dealt with it but my car is estimated to be in the body shop for 3-4 weeks. The only reason I gave a 2 star instead of 1 is because the staff when I picked up the car were friendly. However, the man I spoke with on the phone to ask for another car was not so courteous. I explained that the car had multiple stains, I asked for another car and requested one similar to mine. He was rude to me and ended up offering me a cloth seat Kia Soul. ? I ended up returning the car first thing the next morning and went to Enterprise up the road. I will not be using Hertz for any rental needs I have in the future.
