Still waiting for the day that I only give some Ritz-Carlton location a 4 Star review. After this visit to the Phoenix version, I continue to wait. Check in was smooth, the room was immaculate, drinks before dinner at the bar were served by a friendly bartender who was clearly proud of the bar menu and quick with recommendations even though I wound up not eating there. About the room... I love walking in an R-C room and just soaking up the little things. The towels hung perfectly even in the bathroom, the water bottles lined up so nicely, no art on the wall with the slightest tilt. It's moments like these where I admit to the small inner perfectionist that lives within me even though it's normally overshadowed by the stronger, ok with chaos side. The Phoenix room was perfect in all regards. It's a nice location too with plenty of good dining options within walking distance. Should I have a trip to Phoenix in my future this Ritz will be high on the list for a place to stay.
