Ta Pies gets the Hugh Jackman Seal of Approval! So says the sandwich board outside. We were not as easily impressed as Wolverine.
Ta Pies is a tiny spot. We received the offer of two pies from the hot case for the price of one since they were closing in less than an hour after we arrived.
No one loved the food. The kids had the classic beef pie filled with (shocker!) ground beef. The husband and I shared the veggie pie with sweet potato curry. It was fine. We waited 20 minutes for them to warm up the butter chicken pie. That was the best of the bunch, but still not worth a return visit.
We ended our meal with an Afghan cookie and a Lammington to go but they were pretty unremarkable.
