I reserved a room in this hotel through the Choice Hotel app. With taxes the rate was $101.64. When I checked in on 6/15. they charged me $301.64. They said the $200 was a deposit against possible damage to the room and it would be refunded at checkout. I have stayed in this hotel before and never had to do that. Nowhere on the Choice website does it mention this charge. When I checked out, I was told that the charge would be removed. Now, 2 days later, the charge of $301.64 is still on my account and they charged me another $101.64. When my wife called the hotel to ask about this, the woman who answered the phone was extremely rude. She said that it wasn't her problem and I would have to resolve it through the credit card company. This is terrible customer service. I will never stay in this place again.
