I go here all the time. The owner is from Eastern Europe originally. She bought the business just over 2 years ago. She has one employee who works most of the time now that the owner has a new baby. The store is small and well organized. It's bright, and has entrances on 9th Ave. SE & alsol in the back, where there is parking for the store as well as other small business's that are part of the complex it is in. 'Very good selection of raw food for dogs and cats. Priced competitively. There are I think (3) Tailblazers stores in Calgary at various quadrants and they are all owned independently, however carry similar products and pricing is consistent. It's like a pet health food store. Good quality foods from mostly Alberta area providers for the raw. You have a choice of three or four lines of raw food, all of which are really good and also a nice bone selection. I like supporting Ma & Pa business's that try to be current with their products and ideas, and I think this business definitely qualifies. They have a bulletin board for animal related posts and keep it tidy & up to date. The store is clean, 'the help friendly and there are one or two product lines where they keep track of your purchases and give you "x" amount of purchase rebates. The store hours are quite long..I believe they open around 10 or 11AM pretty much 7 days a week..'till 6PM weekdays and 5PM close Sat...4PM on Sunday. My "Buffalo" doggie and Afree Kaat cat are very happy Mummi stops by here lots!
