First, I was pretty impressed. JoEllen was very nice and spent almost the whole hour with me. I've never experienced such attentiveness from a doctor. The front desk lady was very nice. The practice is very small and cutely decorated.
And then I didn't receive any news about my labs. There was one lab listed but it didn't tell me the results of others which were more important. Also, the doctor messed up my bloodwork by sending it to the wrong lab when I expressly stated the other lab option. So when I called one week later, I was told that I will have to check with my insurance because JoEllen is out of the office this week and can't conveniently change it. And then I was informed that I looked at my lab results last night via portal, with a very precise time given. Which I didn't, I didn't even access the website at that time. Then I was told that JoEllen had the access to the missing results for a while but didn't update it for me. Then I was promised to get a call back about my missing lab results and whether I need to get prescription.
Nobody called me, no apologies, nothing. The missing results with a prescription finally appeared on the portal later in evening that day. I am very disappointed with the way I was forgotten. I could have been treated much earlier for my concerns.
