One star for atmosphere, one star for friendly server... when we saw her anyways...
What a mess...
I really wanted to love this place. The exterior is adorbs and the interior is cool... that's where it's appeal ends. When we entered at 1:30pm on football Sunday we took a moment to find a table facing our game. Easy enough considering most tables were occupied. And then we waited... and waited... and waited...
10 minutes later I approached the bar. "Do we order here or are there waitresses?" I was informed there were waitresses and that one should be over soon to take orders for drinks. I ordered our beers and a soda anyways. Ten minutes later our beers arrived... no soda. Another ten minutes... soda arrived. I was starting to sense a trend. Twenty minutes later we ordered. The server (possibly a manager?) apologized and made excuses for the wait. The food was abysmal. I mean, really. The best thing we had was the deviled eggs which came on a bed of oil. Interesting... The mac & cheese bites were bland, the hot dog bun was soggy, the queso dip was SOUP (I sent it back) the pretzel bites weren't horrible, the hummus was so thick and CHUNKY that it resembled pulled pork... gross!
The empty plates sat on the table for over an hour even though the server came over to check on us three times. Shameful.
In conclusion: I don't know what is going on in the kitchen, but it ain't good I'm guessing that the service issues are due to under-staffing. This place could be GREAT... but it's just plain sad. The only thing that saved us was the bucket "0" beer.
We will not be coming back... ever.
