I gave them 4 (with hesitation) stars because I'm still a fan, but I think that the students need a good lesson in how to act in public...especially when you have clients in their presence. My stylist was Allison Jones in Phase 2 who did a great job with my hair (it was a bit darker than I wanted, but I'm not mad--because the end result turned out great). She was also very talkative and kept me engaged during the process. She did scare me a bit when she told me that her first client ever was there and that's when she had no clue about highlights. She tells me this as she is putting highlights in my hair. I had to talk myself out of a freaking out. But I didn't and all's well that ends well.
I would suggest that the powers that be who run the school provide some charm school lessons to their students. Many sat around gossiping and talking some judgmental trash about other students AND clients. It was rude and disheartening to hear such judgment and almost hate from people who should be supportive of each other. And it was even worse when one of the instructors got in on the conversation as well. I hope this gets remedied before my next appointment.
