Let me start by saying that I am a fan of Smashburger, but it's not the best burger I've ever had or will have for that matter. It is definitely a huge step above In & Out and about as good as it gets for "fast food." The Smash fries are absolutely fantastic! Little crunchy gems tossed in rosemary, olive oil, and garlic. I am pretty sure I could eat a barrel of them by myself. The burgers aren't bad either. I tend to favor the mushroom and swiss burger. My husband opts for the BBQ, bacon, and cheddar with a chipotle bun, just the right amount of spicy and savory. We have also tried the sweet potato fries and the haystack onions, both of them are OK but nothing special. I have also indulged in the fried pickles, which are overly salty to the point where they are almost inedible. However, if we are talking flavor then this is one of the best, if not the best, fast food burger and fries out there.
