I am international student here at York I love this Uni. When I was deciding about attending it,I saw many bad reviews of it but its not like that all. Its a big university ,have around 80 buildings and 100 acre off campus housing(york village)..campus looks very beautiful specially in fall and spring People saying its away from downtown,they are right but York uni is a city in itself.You could find any thing on campus. Super store,pharmacy, restaurants and club.
Now ,about courses and professors. I would rate it 9/10. there are large numbers of professors to choose from ,So if you know some upper year students(join FB page) they will surely help you with which professor to take course.
I love advising office over here,they are always there to guide and help.
As an international student,The best thing in York is York international,they always help on every issue such as visa,work or any other problems.
