This is a go-to place for takeout for us. The atmosphere/decor leaves a bit to be desired - it's not pretty - but the food is delicious and the servings are ginormous. You can get a chicken mole tamale the size of your head for $4 - usually lasts me two meals, maybe three. Except, a lot of the time they are sold out of tamales, because they're so good they have regulars who come in and buy a dozen to eat all week. It's not the trendy hipster Mexican experience you find downtown, it is authentic all the way.
