"Helping Out Those In Need"
Attending Central Christian Church for some time, I've known that they had a store run by volunteers and that the proceeds go to such things like Central's food bank to help out our community as well as their ongoing support of God Behind Bars, providing bibles and other materials for those in prison/correctional facilities in a few cities.
We finally got the chance to visit Castaways Resale Store up on N Stephanie Street, and I must say that this is one of the cleaner thrift stores in town. Clean, well organized, and doesn't have that weird musty smell like Goodwill and Savers do.
Clothes are in good shape, you have various accessories and housewares, the kids have lots of stuffed animals, toys, and books to choose from, and there's another separate room full of books and music. The staff are very pleasant here and will let you know of any sales or upcoming deals they may have.
