I went to this club when I was visiting a friend in the neighbourhood. It was relatively new as this used to be an old bingo or banquet hall. The location services just the beaches area but I was somewhat disappointed after having been to the Liberty Village location. I suppose I had higher expectations for the design and layout of this facility being brand new. The equipment is nice and the reception staff were friendly but since I'm not a regular here I can't comment on their other trainers and management. The layout is not bad with weights half being downstairs and cardio half is upstairs. The aerobics room is a good size but a bit tucked away. It's not really a large facility but the machines were well spaced and everything was clean. I thought they would have more natural light from the front as the building is a 2 story unit but the sign is huge and window treatment small. It would add a lot to the open space as it just doesn't seem as nice as their other gyms (including the Yonge-St. Clair which is in an underground location). It's an overall 3.5 star rating compared to the other GoodLife gyms I've used and reviewed.
