Large airport, but it is nice and airy, very clean and pretty easy to get to your gates.
Plenty of food options, TSA were friendly and check-in was pretty simple even though it was Super Bowl Week in Phoenix.
Bag came out after a bit of a wait, but not an abnormal wait.
The ONLY reason for 3 stars instead of 4 is the fact that getting a rental car is a good 1/2 hour (or more) added to your trip time. Buses bring you to the center, but just the ride alone is a good 15-20 minutes. Not efficient at all and highly annoying. The inconvenience factor ranks up there with McCarran in Las Vegas. ADD EXTRA TIME FOR GETTING and RETURNING YOUR RENTAL CAR. You'll be really, really happy you did.
