This place can get crazy on a Friday night. The used to offer (not sure if they still do) free food like slices of real roast beef and other assorted items. That was around supper time and after that everybody in the city would descend on the place for a night of drinking and fighting and picking up.
It was a fun time. One St. Patrick's Day we actually met a leprechaun in there by the name of Shamus or something. Nice guy, he stayed and drank with us all night to the tune of a few hundred bucks. I'm going to have to get back there. It's a great place, with live bands on occasion, and fun no matter what....
