I've gotten my hair done several times before with Ulta. These past two times have been the worst experience I've ever had while getting my hair done except I didn't even get my hair done either of those times. The last time I made an appointment with this Ulta, they changed my stylist last minute without telling me until I walked in and even at that, I had to wait an hour for the exchanged stylist to get to me but by the time she was almost done, it was 15 until closing and there was no point in me receiving my haircut. Today, I did a walk in, was told I'd be in the chair at latest by 4:30, after 60 minutes and noticing an employee take my place with the stylist I was assigned, I let the front desk employee know I was in a crunch for time at this point and she assured me it would be only 5 minutes more. 10 minutes later I tell her that this is becoming a norm and I'm hoping to see change. Another employee of the store walks up, interrupts me to speak to the employee and continues a conversation about another appointment and how long her day has been. I walk away and head to the cashier up front and ask for the manager. Suprise to me, the employee who interrupted me was the manager of the store. She listened but had little to say nor shared concern for the experience. I get that this will have little impact but for any manager reading this, please step up, take responsibility for your employees and lead them by example. You guys are in for a rude awakening if this continues.
