If you are OK with the fact that your hotel will be within walking distance of absolutely nothing, you'll like the Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Airport North a lot.
Really, there is nothing but commerce and industry around it, so there's no walking outside for a restaurant or even coffee and donuts.
We did have dinner here Thursday night and stumbled onto a very sweet Soup and Salad Bar special for just $6.95.
Our hotel room was unexpectedly large, and was very comfortable. The AC and WIFI worked well, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was roomy with a good shower.
The shuttle ride to the airport was easy-peasy.
