Got into Vegas and didn't want to leave the hotel for dinner. Didn't want to spend $200 on dinner at the higher end places so we opted for Red 8. The decor and atmosphere is nice. We ordered a mixed drink and it was nice. Started with the Hot and Sour soup (good but not outstanding) and the Traditional Beijing Noodles with sauce (good). I asked the waiter why the noodles didn't have any pork and he told me it is ground up in the sauce. It would probably good to have that described on the menu. I opted for the $23 roast duck. The duck and sauce were tasty but that was it...you got a few pieces of duck and sauce...no veggies, no rice no nothing...$23. My husband ordered the lamb special $28. Cooked nicely and he enjoyed the sauce. At least with his dinner he received rice. Overall the food was good but still overpriced for what you received. Total for dinner was $100 not including tip.
