Pros, Cons, then summary.
Went here with my family for Monster Jam World Finals.
PROs--It is close to Sam Boyd stadium. Rather, it is the nicest hotel/casino close to sam boyd stadium. Boulder Highway area is rife with ghetto hotels/motels. There's a lot of riff-raff too. Yet, the Cannery is the nicest place along this stretch. The rooms were very nice too. Nice beds, clean, shower was very nice too. Everything worked well, good water pressure, and fast, free WiFi. I didn't go to the pool, but the gambling area was ok, and the sports book was nice. Plenty of parking, and quick access to freeways. Because it is on Boulder Highway, it is near all sorts of stores, restaurants, and gas stations.
CONs--Not many, because we weren't here for the "Vegas" experience. This place is not near the strip, so if you are looking to book here, plan on staying here. The Strip is a couple miles away, so that wouldn't be any fun. For the most part, no real issues with the rooms.
Would I go back? Yes, I plan on booking here for Monster Jam in the future. This is by far the best place in the area.
