Casino Arizona at 101 and Indian Bend is now Talking Stick Resort. This was my first look of the new casino from a video poker player's perspective. CA Management has no love at all for VP players. When the Salt River Tribe first opened their casino at McKellips, it was understandable that they could get away with offering "cruise ship" pay tables on video poker. However, I am truly shocked that management believes it can still get away with worse pay tables than they had at the old casino. In fact, they went from having at least a few good plays at the bar, to ZERO plays in the entire casino. For my money, and it is MY MONEY, this casino ranks right up there with Vee Quiva for it's poor VP and it will be a cold day in July before I drop a dime in either one of these "grind" joints. I'm going to let the newness wear off a little and take another look in a couple of months.
