I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody! My doctor prescribed an ultrasound for me, so I went to Desert Radiology and paid out of pocket. Nine months later I receive a collections bill claiming that I owe them an additional $108. I NEVER received an additional bill from them. When I called them, they claimed it was a "reading fee" and they supposedly sent me a bill 4 months after my ultra sound. This is a lie- I never received a bill and since when do companies send someone to collections after sending ONE bill? The ultrasound was sent to MY doctor, not one of theirs, so there was no need to pay a "reading fee". This was clearly an excuse for them to get more money from me. I am sure they try to pull this nasty trick with other people who have used their services, too. As far as my actual experience there: Very long wait and every single person I dealt with from the billing woman to the actual ultrasound tech, were very unfriendly and abrupt, as if I were inconveniencing them.
