My husband and I made the trip downtown to go to Native Tongue for an anniversary dinner, sadly they were closed for a staff function - so we took a walk and came across Boxwood. It has a nice location and friendly staff; their food is of course fresh - however I was under- impressed by their food. My husband and I got a starter and the pork shoulder for our entree and both dishes I felt we could have easily made at home; I chose a $7 brownie to go, and I expected a very good brownie, instead I received a little square brownie that was nothing special at all.
With all of the fantastic restaurants in downtown Calgary, we will not choosing Boxwood in the future.
