Let me start this by saying, there was some blame on my part. My wife booked for 11:30. I booked over the phone for 12:15. We showed up at 12:15 from Scottsdale. I understand it could be treated as a double booking, but neither of us were notified. I made my reservation over the phone. When we arrived, three young ladies sat cross armed. We were told the reservation at 11:30 and that they were booked. I asked about the 12:15 slot, and was told she had just finished. Clearly either they assumed we double booked, or were just being passive aggressive. She offered a 2:30 slot, but the thing was - there were three women and not a single other customer. I understand how the salon/spa vertical operates, and I know what a room devoid of customers means. Without being salty, one would expect either the employees to be upfront about why they did something, or fake some smiles and make some money. They lost a customer that would have come back regularly. Also, my wife posted a one start review and was immediately contacted. Feel free to call me, 205-217-1515. Extortion and Hostility from a group of stylist that frankly could have used the business is unacceptable. There are plenty of great choices before east Mesa if you live in Scottsdale, and needless to say we will be stopping elsewhere in the future.
