This is such a cute little bakery! All the treats looked so yummy but my friend and I were on a mission... to try their macarons.
So we got 6 of em, 2 blackcurrant, 2 vanilla, 1 pistachio and 1 lemon.
What I Liked
Blackcurrant and lemon had the best taste, they all had a nice crust and a yummy chewiness to it.
What I Didn't Like
I found it odd that they were all different sizes and "poofy-ness".. maybe these were the product of a baker-in-training? (i've posted a pic of this) There was also way too much filling for my liking.. it's like they dabbed a giant glob in the middle. My friend and I began to feel full from the heaviness of the filling, so we scraped it out hahaha.
We also got drinks, I got a hot chocolate and my friend got a cafe latte. Both were huge and yummy and had a little shortbread cookie to go with them!
Overall, I would come back to try the other little treats and perhaps a macaron once in a while (i think i can only handle 1 at a time).
