I love that this shop is conveniently located on Walnut St. I really enjoy hitting up Walnut for other stuff when I'm in Pittsburgh, so it's a plus that I can also go to AA for some tights or whatever it is I'm in the mood for/need. Plus, no sales tax on clothing in PA. YAY-NESS! :) So yeah....I love AA's selection of tights...SO many colors. But my biggest beef with them (pun maybe intended?!) was the size selection! I'm a size 4/6 US...which is about a size "S." They only make TWO sizes of tights...XS/S and M/L. Well, I have to buy the size M/L and they STILL don't fit me very well. I can get them on but they're not very comfy to wear. Maybe my legs are just larger? I mean, I'm sorry that despite being a small, my legs just aren't small? IDK. This is more just my disdain for the company's manufacturing practices and not this specific shop but I thought I'd include these comments here in case a larger lady is interested in buying the tights or leggings. If you're a size 10 US, you might still be able to fit into them but it probably won't be comfortable. Especially if you throw your stuff in a drying machine. Just don't even try it!! My dad did mention this company is going bankrupt so maybe their lack of sizes has something to do with it (I'm pretty sure the average American female can't wear their biggest size of tights) as well as the prices... good god. It's so expensive! But everything is made in the USA in this store, which is GREAT...I fully support that idea...but it's ironic because a lot of Americans can't even afford "made in the US" stuff. lol. Alas. My boyfriend even remarked "wow, I love this idea, but I can't afford to buy this stuff. If only I made more money at my job...then I'd shop here all the time." Yeah. Anyway...the staff, while sorta odd and hipster-y looking, is definitely quite helpful. One young guy went looking all over for a pair of tights for me only to realize they were sold out. I appreciated his effort/help! The staff seems to be generally helpful and knowledgeable at this location. I went on Black Friday (ha ha, I know, wtf is wrong with me, right?) and it wasn't even too crowded. Plus they had a buy one get one half off deal which rocked because I was loading up on tights. Muwhaha.
