I had sewage coming up into my backyard, shower and around my toilet last week. I or my neighbor couldn't use any water or it would come up into my yard, shower or bathroom floor. The warranty company had Pruitt's come out last Saturday. After a couple of attempts of snaking the sewage pipe outside, the plumber said that there was a complete blockage that the snake couldn't clear. He said perhaps it was a tree root and to determine for sure what it was that a scope needed to be used. He didn't have one and said that he would have to write up a work order for someone to come out on Tuesday because they were closed for the next couple of days. Tuesday came and no one had called me or come by my place. I called Pruitt's before noon and was told that they had no record of a work order for that day and that the plumber that came out to my house had called in sick that day. I was then told that they were going to call me back. Almost four hours later, I called Pruitt's back because I hadn't heard back from them. I was told that they don't even have scopes and that they spoke to my warranty company and that the warranty company was going to find a company who has them. I was super upset about the plumber lying to me about the scope, about saying that he would schedule for someone come out on Tuesday and I was also upset at the company for saying they would call me back and not following through and for not apologizing about their inept plumber or anything. And to make things even more infuriating, the warranty company had another plumber come out from a different company (Everything Plumbing) and in less then an hour had the clog cleared. No complete stoppage, no tree root. Spent almost a week with my apartment being unlivable. My son, dog and I had to stay a couple of nights in a motel for nothing. This whole mess could have been over with if it would have been done correctly. Never, never dealing with Pruitt's again.
