They were good! My cat has had lymphoma for a long while so I'm pretty versed in her come and go symptoms and treatments. She had stopped eating earlier on the weekend, and I knew it was going to spell a problem if not addressed quickly. Since my normal vet wasn't open, I brought her in to cut off a possible slide at the pass. I was happy that the attending vet, and the vet tech really listened to me and noted my cat's current treatments. I wasn't pushed to do blood work, or tests or x-rays (which would not have helped in my situation which was long term palliative, but that some vets insist on because they don't have a pet's history), and instead got what my cat needed: Some appetite boosters and some meds to help her over the bump and get her eating and comfortable again. Keep in mind that since this is emerg, they are expensive, but they are pretty reasonable compared to other emerg vets. I walked out with not a huge bill (though obviously higher than my normal vet), a good instruction sheet for the meds and info on what they do, and some piece of mind. I would recommend CTVRC, and will use them again in the future if needed.
