Was going here and really enjoyed it. The staff were friendly... it lacked a bit of professionalism as the staff kind of all dicked around with each other but figured they just got along well. Everyone was super nice.
Then I went to cancel.... their entire shtick is that they are a no contract gym. I called ahead to ask about the process for cancelling knowing gyms like good life make you jump through hoops. Spoke to a guy on the phone " takes 2 minutes just come in and bring your tags we'll give you a receipt, make sure to keep the receipt. "
Get there and TAWNA (I was quickly corrected when I hear Lana, sorry) says there's a 30 day notice period so I'll be charged til the end of August (I came in July 5th). Explained that Noone told me there was a notice period. She says they need it to adjust the billing period.... ummmm.... nope I spoke to someone who said NOTHING about the 30 day period. She tells me it's part of my contract... YOUR WHOLE THING IS THERE IS NO CONTRACT!!! I was charged again the day after cancelling..... Guess it doesn't take that long to adjust your billing period. I call to speak to TAWNA, speak to another girl, don't know her name but I know who it was. Convo goes fine, she'll leave a message and thanks have a great day. No call the next day. I call back. Guy says he'll leave a message. I call back the next day to find out the message wasn't passed on to return my call, however the gothy girl I spoke to and thought the convo went fine tells TAWNA that I said I'll just keep calling back til it's resolved..... I never said that hence passing on a message to call me back. She took my tags on the day I cancelled and made notes about the situation for the boss and then Noone reaches out to resolve the situation. I call back and say I'm going to dispute it... they tell me go ahead. Currently disputing it and an investigation has started.
Long story short.... all these people are fake as fuck. Smile and friendly and the second you want to leave you get miss information so they can try to bill you again. All they have is a digitalised signature that is easily moved to whatever kind of form they want to say you have signed.... BEWARE!
